An online consultation with a doctor

The main goal

To make sure the diagnosis is right, rule out medical errors and find the most effective modern treatment, including access to international protocols and medicines.

When is it needed?

01

Serious or rare conditions

Oncology and complex cardiac, neurological or orthopaedic conditions.

02

Upcoming surgery

If you have been advised to have major surgery and need to confirm it is necessary or find a less invasive alternative.

03

No improvement

If the current treatment is not working or causes severe side effects.

04

Doubts about the diagnosis

When different specialists give contradictory diagnoses.

How does it work?

Send my records
01

Collecting the records

You provide discharge notes, test results and reports, plus images (MRI, CT, PET-CT) or slides for histology.

02

Translation and review

The international centre translates the records into English or the partner clinic’s language and sends them to the expert.

03

The opinion

A professor or medical board abroad studies the material and gives an official written opinion, or holds a video consultation.

If you need help organising this, please tell us:

  1. 01Which diagnosis or field of medicine is your question about?
  2. 02Are you considering a particular country (for example Germany, Israel, the UAE, South Korea)?
  3. 03Do you need an online consultation, or do you plan to travel abroad for treatment?

Sometimes the psychological side matters too: another doctor’s view helps you understand the diagnosis and treatment and feel more confident and calm.

Our centre has an agreement with an international online doctor-coordination centre, so we can find you professional advice on request, partly in person at our centre or online.

Telemedicine is an online consultation with a doctor. By law the specialist does not diagnose or prescribe this way, but can assess how well a treatment works.
